We are looking back to a more than three decades lasting experience in cooperating with and consulting of ice hockey players in Germany and abroad. Since our foundation in 1988, we closely work together with the Canadian agency Maloney & Thompson Sports Management to offer to our players as well international options. At least two times per season our partners from North America visit the jointly managed players in their professional or youth leagues in Germany (U17, U20, DEL2 and DEL) and Europe. Based on our over the years grown network, we support our clients in planning, promoting and assuring their carriers. Additionally we help them as well in other parts of their lives. If needed, we provide experts of ice hockey development, specifically educated lawyers and tax experts or insurance brokers. Our focus is always on the individual. After his ice hockey carrier in the former German Bundesliga (at EV Landshut, Mannheimer ERC and Schwenninger ERC) , Sana Hassan worked for eleven years as sports manager for the Schwenninger ERC, before in 1988 he founded the first agency for ice hockey players in Germany. Since then, he is working full-time as an agent and consultant. Due to many years of experience as player, manager and advisor, Sana can fall back to a well establish network he built during his close cooperation with national and nternational partners. From these personal contacts into the international ice hockey market, benefit all players of our agency.
While playing actively ice hockey, Michael completed in parallel an education as banker, bevor he joined the university studying communication, economics and media. After his active career, he worked 10 years for the Schwenninger ERC, thereof two years as youth coach and eight years in sports management. In the year 2000, he founded together with Sana Hassan the International Service Agency ISA. Since than he is responsible for recruiting young talents and managing junior players as well as professionals on national and international level. With as well 30 years of experience Michael has an extensive knowledge in all areas of the ice hockey business and a wide network, not only in Germany but as well in the international ice hockey world.
The ISA has a long - time experience in ice hockey management. Today the sons of successful ice hockey playersrely on us: Tom Kühnhackl, Mathias Plachta, Sebastian Uvira, Yannik Valenti, Björn Krupp and Thomas Dolak have been or are managed by ISA.
All our employees have a long - time experience in professional sports. They know the different shapes of this business, as player or trainer, as well as in sport-related, administrative and management areas. They know what is necessary to bring a player’s career to success. Therefore, we are using a holistic and professional approach – from scouting and development to contract negotiations.
A direct contact with our players is important for each single employee. Because of their sportive and social competencies, they can understand the players very well and give them professional support. The success of a player is their success.

The ISA consults ice hockey players in all questions around their career planning. We manage young talents as well as already established professional players in all stages of their sportive career. We take care of different aspects of the complex job as aprofessional ice hockey player and enable so our clients to just concentrate on their sportive performance. We focus on the individual needs of our players. Before negotiating a contract, there is always a player’s development. Mike Ellis works as a skill coach at Toronto Maple Leaves (NHL) and additionally supports Maloney & Thompson Sports Management as development consultant. After a long-time career as a player, Mike worked as an ice hockey coach in Europe before he returned to Canada (Ontario).
In 1985 Calgary Flames (NHL) drafted Ragge Johansson. He played several years in the NHL, changed afterwards to the Swedish Hockey League and won in 1994 the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Lillehammer. He is focused on skill evelopment of defense players and works in this function together with JRM Skates & Skills in Stockholm (SWE).
Markus Oden is head coach of the Väsby IK HK and works since 2014 as well together with JRM Skates & Skills.
Because of his master in sports psychology at the University of Halmstad, he can offer to his players besides pure skill trainings as well training of mental techniques, which are more than useful for any professional player.
